In House Kitchen

Care for Autism is a place that aims to serve the best to every special child in every way it can. After therapies and treatment plans comes the food essential of children with autism. These Children are generally sensitive to the taste, smell, colour, and texture of foods which at times restricts their diet and intake of food. They start avoiding and disliking foods and even whole food groups.

Hurdles that come their way are difficulty focusing on one task for an extended period. It affects their ability to sit and eat. They find it difficult to eat with a spoon and without help. These issues are an integral part of CFA plan training children with autism in daily living activities. Our helpers and trainers make arrangements for food and set up an environment that helps children adjust and adapt.

Trainers spend at least 15-20 minutes daily with each child, making them learn the techniques of eating food, holding a plate, using a spoon, finishing the meal, and many more habits that make them able to self-feed.

They try to identify sensitivity to tastes, colours, smells, and textures as the barriers to a balanced eating plan. Cooks in our in-built kitchen add to the menu new foods and trainers attempt finding easy ways to approach sensory issues.

Our trainers make sure that children get meals same time every day. It is one of the simplest ways to reduce stress.

Dietician and Nutritionists consultants plan and design our children’s diet plans. They make sure that there remains no deficiency in the nutritional needs of the child.

Experts help and train parents to deal with and reduce food tantrums of their children by advising them to initiate and bring changes in food items and environment settings.
